‘Strictly Come Dancing’ fans gasped as it was announced at the opening of tonight’s show that favourite-to-win Natalie Gumede would not be performing.
The audience were told: “As you may have seen, we are missing a couple tonight. Sadly Natalie was taken ill during a dress rehearsal and won’t be taking part in tonight’s show.”
The former ‘Coronation Street’ actress had been due to perform a jive with professional partner Artem Chigvintsev to ‘Proud Mary’ by Tina Turner but was ruled out after fainting twice during rehearsals.
A spokesman for the BBC show said: “Natalie Gumede fainted during first band call, then again during dress run, both times at the end of her routine. She has been checked by the medical team on site, and will be going to A&E as a precaution.
“As per the rules of ‘Strictly’, she will have a bye through to next week and the show will continue tonight with a public vote. Someone will still exit the competition this weekend.”
Fans were later given more details about Gumede’s dramatic collapse.
A medic said: “I was radioed to come to the dancefloor where Natalie had collapsed. It became apparent that she had fainted.”
Chigvintsev said of his partner: “She was shaking a lot and crying. I am just gutted for her. She is doing such a great job and I just want to say ‘Please get better’.”
Gumede said in her video diary, which was broadcast this evening: “You have to treat every dance as if it’s your last and enjoy it as if it’s your last.”
Presenter Claudia Winkleman said: “She is unable to dance tonight. If she is passed as being medically fit next week, she will be able to dance in Blackpool.
“We send all our love and we hope to see you next week.”

The Set Fire to the Rain singer left the firm gobsmacked
Getty
Adele has walked away from a £12million offer to be the face of L’Oréal in a move that left the firm “gobsmacked”.
The superstar singer, 25, was months into negotiations and all set to brush aside Cheryl Cole by signing a four-year advertising contract.
It was a megabucks deal that looked destined to make her the cosmetic giant’s highest-paid star ever.
Oscar-winner Adele would have joined a celebrity “faces of” roll call with Cheryl, Penelope Cruz, Eva Longoria and Jennifer Lopez.
A source said: “L’Oréal was in negotiations for the deal with Adele and it looked to be happening – but she just changed her mind on it.
“L’Oréal is gobsmacked that she turned down such a huge amount.” North London girl Adele has often insisted on her reluctance to sell out, claiming she dislikes artists who are constantly in everyone’s face.
In 2011 the Someone Like You singer said: “I don’t want my name anywhere near another brand. I don’t wanna be tainted or haunted. I think it’s shameful when you sell out.”
But in March it was revealed she was considering a deal after being chased by cosmetics companies including Dior and Estée Lauder.
Getty
A source at the time said: “It’s going to take a lot of persuasion to get her to agree but right now it looks as if she’s close to signing a deal.”
Landing such a high-profile role in the beauty industry would also have been one in the eye for fashion big-shots such as Karl Lagerfeld who slated her for not being stick thin.
The huge offer came amid speculation that French firm L’Oréal was looking to dump long-serving Cheryl Cole, who is on an advertising contract worth £500,000 a year.
Despite their sales rising during the popular Geordie’s stint on the X Factor, the company moved Cheryl, 30, to their skincare campaign after she took to frequently changing the colour of her hair.
And it was less than impressed when she revealed an elaborate tattoo covering her rear in August.
It sparked rumours the firm could be looking to dump her.
But Cheryl may be considered worth keeping now that Adele, rumoured to have a personal fortune of £35million, has decided the £3million-a-year deal is not tempting enough to risk undermining her image.
This year Adele was awarded an MBE and won the Best Original Song Oscar for Skyfall. She has a 12-month-old son, Angelo, with partner Simon Konecki – an Old Etonian and charity executive.
She must be rolling in seriously deep amounts of money to feel OK rejecting an offer like L’Oréal’s.

09 NOVEMBER 2013Abbey Clancy is certainly a busy lady. As if juggling her modelling and presenting career with a two-year-old daughter weren’t already enough, the Liverpudlian beauty has also been competing on Strictly Come Dancing.
“I’m shattered,” Abbey told HELLO! at Fashion for the Brave on Friday night. “We’ve been doing the Charleston this week which is a million miles an hour. Full on. But I’m really enjoying it and I just hope I don’t find myself in the bottom two again.
“Being in the bottom two was horrendous,” added 27-year-old Abbey. “It was horrible. Especially being there with Rachel [Riley], who is my really good friend on the show.”

Dressed in a sheer, Union Jack-adorned dress, designed by her former Strictly co-star Julien Macdonald, Abbey told HELLO! “Everyone’s made a really good bond with each other.
“There’s no bitchiness, there’s no competition. Everyone is genuinely rooting for each other and wants them to do well.”
Having formed a successful dancing partnership with professional Aljaž Skorjanec, Abbey said that is was a “shock” to be second in the leader board and still face leaving the show.
“I’ve been second in the leader board pretty much the whole way through,” she said. “So it was scary.”
Abbey’s success on the BBC1 hit show has meant compromising spending time with her footballer husband Peter Crouch and their daughter Sophia.
“The only downside to the show for me is being away from my daughter,” said Abbey. “Im used to doing my jobs like a couple of photoshoots a month and a bit of presenting here and there, but the majority of my days are with the baby.”
“So to have to put her in nursery all day,” she added. “And for Pete to pick her up and it’s dark when I get home and she’s in bed – it’s quite hard.”
However Abbey reveals that despite being “less nervous giving birth than doing Strictly,” it’s all been worth it.
“I’m having the time of my life!” she says. “I almost feel guilty for loving it so much!”
The blonde beauty also suggested that her love for the show has been rubbing off on England star Peter, who wed Abbey in June 2011.
“Peter would love to do strictly,” she says. “He loves dancing and loves a challenge so I think maybe when he has finished football he’d like to give it a go.”
Strobe lights and garish get-ups gave way to side partings and swing as the X Factor ditched last week’s disco theme in favour of the big band sound for tonight’s live episode.
Backed by a 30-piece band, it was Rough Copy who stole the show with a contemporary twist on a classic Ray Charles number, as some of the acts appeared to struggle to win over the judges.
Opening the programme, the normally bespectacled Abi Alton split the panel with her rendition of Frank Sinatra’s That’s Life, which she dedicated to her father.
Louis Walsh said: “It didn’t go too far for me. I think you can do so much better.”
But Nicole Scherzinger replied: “She was sass-tastic tonight. You let go, you had so much fun with it, girl. You delivered tonight.”
Sam Bailey, the sole representative in the Over-25s category, also borrowed from Old Blue Eyes’ back catalogue, taking on New York, New York.
Gary Barlow described her performance as “unbelievable”, while Walsh went further in his praise, saying: “For me, you are the one to beat in the competition.”
Sixteen-year-old Nicholas McDonald’s version of Ella FItzgerald’s Dream A Little Dream Of Me earned him the moniker “Baby Buble” in reference to the Canadian crooner Michael Buble.
Sharon Osborne said: “You embraced big band week fantastically. You totally put yourself into it.”
Devon teenager Luke Friend, with his trademark unkempt hair scraped back into slick ponytail, sang Moondance by Van Morrison. But he did not enjoy a vintage evening. Barlow told him: “I was disappointed in that tonight. This style just doesn’t suit you at all.”
Both he and former Pussycat Dolls singer Scherzinger said Friend needed to sing “behind the beat”, rather than ahead of it.
But the mood lifted when Hannah Barrett performed the James Brown classic It’s A Man’s Man’s World. Osborne told her: “We had more of that lovely hot chocolate voice of yours. We can never get enough of you.”
Walsh added: “You’re doing something right.”
There was a change of pace as Rough Copy – the only group left in the competition – added a contemporary twist to Ray Charles’s up-tempo Hit The Road Jack.
The trio, performing with canes and crimson blazers, swaggered around the stage as they produced an energetic rendition replete with leather trousers and tight choreography.
Both Scherzinger and Walsh tipped the trio to make the final, with the latter adding: “You are slick, snazzy – I love the style. You have to make the final.”
Tamera Foster, who was seen weeping after being in the bottom two last week, impressed tonight when she took on Julie London’s Cry Me A River – even if Osborne once again stumbled over pronouncing the 16-year-old’s name.
Barlow said her potential was “stratospheric”, while Walsh described her as a “little diva”, and said: “You’ve got this thing called ‘star quality’.” Sam Callahan brought the curtain down on the show, with a cover of Dean Martin’s Ain’t That A Kick In The Head.
The judges gave him “A for effort”, while Walsh, dipping into the show’s bag of catchphrases, added: “You’re like a little Fred Astaire.”
The acts will return on Sunday night when they learn who will go through to the next round.
Hordes of Beliebers had been camped outside the hotel since the singer arrived on Thursday
Funny or Die
Justin Bieber has been kicked out of his posh hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, after his screaming fans disturbed other guests.
La Faena hotel, which is located in the exclusive Puerto Madero district of Beunos Aires, released a statement saying: “All that Justin Bieber brings with him was inhibiting our ability to provide the services that our guests have become accustomed to.”
Argentinian paper La Razón reported that the One Time singer got back to the hotel late last night night but immediately went to a club from where he returned “in a minivan replete with women.”
Hordes of Beliebers had been camped outside the hotel since the singer arrived on Thursday, singing and screaming his name.
The Baby singer has been moved to a gated community in NorDelta – a district to the North of Buenos Aires in Tigre.
Justin was charged by cops over illegal hotel graffiti in Rio earlier this week.
Pictures emerged of Canadian singer Bieber defacing the Hotel Nacional, Rio, in a baseball cap and jeans – catching the attention of police.
Officers have sent the case against the baby faced singer to the Special criminal court, also known as JECrim, which deals with minor offences.
Delson Silva dos Santos
If convicted the 19-year-old will face a fine.
According to reports, Rio City Hall is saying that Bieber WAS granted a license to paint a wall in the Vila Olimpica do Vidigal – a tourist area in Rio – but after visiting the site on Monday he decided to tag elsewhere the following day.
Police turned up at the pop star’s rented mansion to speak to him after a complaint about his street art in Sao Conrado, Rio de Janeiro.
But the singer sent one of his personal minders to be quizzed at the police station instead.
Antonio Ricardo, of the city’s Civil Police, said yesterday: “The musician does not have permission from the owner of the site to do the paintings.”
The hotel has since painted over Bieber’s tags.
Bieber’s spokesman also said he had “no comment” yesterday.
The singer’s run-in with the law follows an incident at the weekend when he was photographed leaving a brothel. His spokesman claimed he thought it was a private members’ club.
09 NOVEMBER 2013Prince William supported the country he lived and worked in for three years on Saturday when he attended the Wales v South Africa match in Cardiff.
William, who worked as an RAF search rescue pilot in Anglesey until September, was given a tour of the Welsh team’s changing room at Millennium Stadium by the club’s Chief Executive Roger Lewis.
Wearing a fitting dark red tie, the 31-year-old Prince met injured former players who are beneficiaries of the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust.

The trust, of which William is patron, was set up in 1972 to support players that have been seriously injured while playing rugby for Wales.
After his tour of the stadium new dad William then took his seat in the stands to watch Wales take on the South African Springboks.
Earlier in the week during a visit to St Giles Trust in London, the Duke of Cambridge said that he would have his “fingers crossed” for the Welsh side come Saturday.
This is not the first time William has turned out to support Wales at a rugby match. William and Kate cheered their adoptive home in November 2012.
The Duchess paid a sartorial tribute to the Welsh team, wearing a scarlet coat by L.K. Bennett which she recyled just two days ago for London Poppy Day.
Watching rugby elsewhere in the UK was Prince William’s friend, footballing legend David Beckham.
David and his three sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz were spotted at Twickenham watching England play Argentina.
Thanks so much for all your support during Halloween week – we loved it.
This week Ashley took me to the Hollyoaks set – so I got to go in the pub and café where they film. I got a kiss from Danny Mac, who is a hottie, so I have been boasting about that!
Ashley and I are dancing a quickstep to the Jet’s Are You Going To Be My Girl.
It’s a full on dance – that you need a lot of energy. It’s killing us both! He calls me his little Polish Angel Monster!
You really feel like you have lost a lot of weight after a couple of hours training. I tweeted a picture of Ashley having some junk food this week. We do try to eat as healthy as you can, but especially for a guy, they need to eat.
Ashley stole my phone when I was doing an interview this week and wrote a tweet from my phone saying, “I must admit @ashoztd has taught me so much about dancing! I thought @The_JamesJordan was good but he’s got nothing on Ash! #sadbuttrue! will make sure I have my revenge after that!
I was really sad to see Rachel Riley voted off last week, we got on really well.
The competition is so good this year. I think Sophie and Natalie will do really well, and no-one really talks about it, but I think Susana Reid is the dark horse of the competition. I think she’s one to watch.
Thanks for voting for us – I hope we are doing you proud!
Susanna’s “all bounce and bongos” samba even got judge Len Goodman hot under the collar
Susanna Reid has shrugged off her straight-laced presenting persona to become the latest sex symbol to emerge from this year’s BBC Strictly Come Dancing.
The 42-year-old news presenter has sent male pulses racing with her tousled locks and sexy outfits on the hit weekend show.
Now, the mum-of-three has come clean about the thrill she gets from dancing, cheekily revealing it’s the role-playing that gives her the greatest buzz.
“The whole idea is just to provide pleasure and it’s a glorious thing to be involved in,” said Susanna, in an interview with The Sun. “I don’t have a problem letting my hair down.”
“I love the fact that on Strictly I can play a different character and throw myself into the dance. I enjoy getting into the character.”
The busty beauty and her professional dance partner Kevin Clifton have so far avoided the ill-fated bottom two and have left Strictly judges and viewers open-mouthed each week with their sexy dance antics.
The BBC Breakfast host is the fifth favourite to win on odds of 9/1. But she admits her new found sex bomb status baffles her.
“My partner thinks it’s hilarious. If people saw me first thing in the morning they’d think again,” said Susanna, who has been with sports reporter Dominic Cotton for 15 years.
But shaking those hips has paid off, after she recently revealed how she’d shed 7lbs since starting the show and toned up her wobbly bits.
Kelly Brook appears to be over her love cheat ex Danny Cipriani after she was spotted getting cosy with US actor Jeremy Piven.
The British model and actress was seen with the 48-year-old ‘Mr. Selfridge’ star at his home in Malibu, California as well as at a fancy dress party in LA, according to reports.
Kelly Brook
A source told The Sun: “She was immediately taken by his dashing good looks. It’s too early to say how serious things will get, but the initial attraction was definitely there on both sides.”
Jeremy, who also stars in the US series ‘Entourage’ has previously been linked to singer Pink and burlesque star Dita von Teese.
Jeremy Piven
Kelly, 33, split from rugby player Danny in August after he was caught sexting another woman.
Last week she was linked to her friend Katherine Jenkins’ ex, Gethin Jones.
According to The Mirror, Kelly was also spotted leaving Gethin’s apartment, where he has been living whilst trying to find US TV work.
A source told the paper: “They have fancied each other for ages but have never been single at the same time before. Kelly thinks Gethin could definitely be boyfriend material.”
“Gethin thinks Kelly is gorgeous. He can’t believe his luck, and he’d like this to become more serious,” another insider added.
In caustic tweets Sheen dubs his ex wife an “Adderol snorting husk”

Charlie Sheen has appeared to break a strict gagging order banning him from talking about ex wife Brooke Mueller publicly after a judge awarded custody to her brother.
The Two And A half Men star branded the judge an “anus brain” and his ex wife a “Adderall snorting husk” after Brooke’s brother Scott was awarded temporary custody of twins Bob and Max.
Because the judge also allowed Scott and the kids to live with Brooke so they could be close to school, the 48-year-old actor claims his ex effectively has custody of 4-year-old twins Bob and Max.
Earlier this week a judge reinstated a gagging order, banning him from talking about the case – after he Two And A Half Men actor tweeted Brooke a picture of a cake with a grenade in it.
Ironically it was a tweet about Brooke losing her battle to keep her ex husband away from her.
Charlie tweeted: “”So lemme see if I got this straight … my twin boys are now in harm’s way and in grave danger, being ‘raised’ by a gaggle of incompetent and lascivious marionettes all ruled and fooled by an Adderall snorting husk called Brooke.
“And guess what CPS and ‘I’m Italian’ judge anus-brain, you may have gagged me temporarily, but mark my unspoken words, anything happens to my boys, and you will get to know me, know who I truly am, a loving father.”
Despite being warned he faced jail if he broke the order, Sheen defiantly wrote: “If this means being jailed for loving and trying to protect my children, then go for it.”
He added: “I have as many friends on the inside as I do out here. My passion WILL NOT be silenced. You are all now standing in my way. I’d recommend a shift in your geography.”
It is believed Mueller, who struggled with susbstance abuse in the past, begged a judge for custody after current carer Denise Richards “turned her boys against her”. It was eventually granted after she put her brother Scott forward to look after the boys.
Radar reports Richards who has two daughters with Sheen, wrote a letter to the court detailing alleged behavioural problems and mood swings of her 4-year-old twins Bob and Max.
Since splitting the pair have become embroiled in a bitter custody battle over their 4-year-old twins Bob and Max. Sheen has repeatedly accused his ex, who has struggled with substance abuse, of putting the children in danger.

He will be with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, starring in the panto in Birmingham over the festive period.
But it means TV fashion star Gok will have to celebrate Christmas early – very early. Yesterday, in fact.
Chatting at Thursday night’s star-studded Stonewall bash at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum, Gok told me: “I’m really excited about the panto but the only down-side is that I don’t really get a Christmas break. So I’m off to Belgium to do all my shopping and have my own little Christmas.”

Elsewhere on the night – which saw the Daily Mirror nominated for the Publication of the Year award – Corrie actor Antony Cotton beat off competition from Lucy Spraggan and Clare Balding to be crowned Entertainer of the Year.
Collecting his award, Antony, 38, gave an emotional speech, in which he praised Stonewall for its contribution to gay rights.
Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock had a little row with footballer boyfriend Jordan Kiffin at Tinie Tempah’s birthday party.
The Move singer was helping the rapper turn 25 at the Beats by Dre Demonstration of Sound bash at DSTRKT in London, until she and Ashford Town striker Jordan had a bust-up.
I’m told: “Jordan was shouting then Leigh-Anne pushed him away, yelling, ‘Get away from me!’
“She had to be comforted by her bandmate Jade in the toilets, and she told Jade that Jordan had ruined her night.”
The poor love. Hope they made up in the morning.
Here’s their new video anyways…
It is the first track to be taken from their new album Salute – and the single will be officially available on 4 November.
Jade Thirwall told Digital Spy that the song could be a risky choice, as it differs from their previous hits.
“It’s so quirky and different – I’d definitely say we’ve gone a bit cooler with this one.
“I love the structure of it – it’s so different that it means you have to listen to it a few times to get your head around it.”
Leigh-Anne Pinnock added: “I don’t think we’d be Little Mix if we didn’t take a risk. When Wings came out there was nothing like it at the time - it was something a bit different – and we like doing that.
“It’s about finding our sound and having fun with it.”
Jade explained that the album was about attracting more fans.
ITV is desperate to sign her up for a stint in the jungle on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! with bosses making a last-ditch swoop for the reality TV star.

So much for the only place is Essex … TOWIE babe Abi Clarke suddenly seems rather keen on the Australian outback.
The fearless/keen-for-publicity Essex girl is the latest celeb gearing up for a series of gross bush tucker trials and two weeks of sharing an outdoor dunny. You wouldn’t get that in Brentwood.
Abi, 22, is understood to be one of the last to sign a contract.
Her deal is said to be worth around £25,000, with her flight to Oz all but confirmed.
I’m told: “She was approached by ITV a few weeks ago and, after extensive talks, is deciding to sign on the dotted line.
“She’s a bubbly, outgoing girl who isn’t afraid of flashing the flesh.
SPLASH NEWS
“Producers are confident she’ll be a hit with viewers. Abi has already joked that she’ll be happy to be the first celeb under the famous jungle waterfall shower. If she can do a Myleene Klass and get a lucrative modelling or swimwear deal out the show, then all the better.
“She is also a massive flirt and the show’s bosses are hoping she may well have a jungle fling.”
Abi, who joined ITV2 show TOWIE in February, filmed a spin-off in Vegas recently.
She was pictured in the gamblers’ paradise strutting her stuff in various cut-away swimming cossies and bikinis, and tucking into cocktails.
Since arriving in TOWIE, she has had dates with cast members Tom Pearce and new hunk James Lock, as well as enjoying a long-running, on-off romance with James “Diags” Bennewith.
Abi previously described herself as “just a young girl who likes to party and look nice”. Expect lots of reflective, philosophical fire-side conversations, then.
Other stars rumoured to be heading for the jungle for the new series of I’m a Celebrity…, which begins next weekend, include Olympic gold medal swimmer Rebecca Adlington, troubled footie legend Gazza, and EastEnders actress Laila “Big Mo” Morse.
TOWIE castmate Joey Essex is due to join Abi for the Aussie ordeal but his on/off ex-girlfriend Sam Faiers is not.

BBC
Pop stars One Direction and X Factor judge Gary Barlow have been immortalised…..as part of a collection of bears for the BBC’s Children in Need.
The bespoke teddies, modelled on the annual appeal’s mascot Pudsey, are two of ten toys which will be auctioned off later this month.
Other celebs to be included in the so-called ‘Very Important Pudsey’ collection are Sir Paul McCartney, Coldplay, Sir Terry Wogan, Dame Shirley Bassey, Brian May, Dame Judi Dench, Joanna Lumley and Dame Helen Mirren.
The ‘One Directioner’ bear – named after 1D’s fans – has cream faux fur and wears light blue shorts, Converse shoes, a floral bandana and a varsity-style 1D cardigan.
The boy band said: “We are often asked what the driving force behind us is and the answer is always the same – our fans.
“Our fans are the ones who got us where we are today and who inspire everything we do, including bear designs!
“So, meet One Directioner Pudsey.
“Please do dig deep and bid on our bear, it really will go on to make a difference.”
Meanwhile, Gary Barlow’s suited bear is inspired by his love of performing and wearing a suit.
BBC
This particular teddy is made of brown velvet and wears a Union Jack bandana.
Gary said: “BBC Children in Need is a charity incredibly close to my heart, so I wanted my bear to echo something else that I hold close to my heart – performing.
“This bear is a reflection of me in one of my favourite suits performing on stage.”
The unique collection is now on auction via www.bbc.co.uk/pudsey
The collection is being exhibited at St Pancras International in London until November 17.
As well as designing a Very Important Pudsey, One Direction take on presenting duties for BBC Children In Need 2013 on November 15.
They will give the first British TV performance of their track Best Song Ever and they will also host the BBC Two portion of Children in Need night between 10pm and 10.35pm from Eastenders’ Queen Vic pub.
In a series of special links, the band will be introducing some special music performances before the fundraising action goes back over to BBC One for the rest of the night.
One Direction added: “We all grew up watching Children in Need as kids so to be in a position where we can collaborate with the charity and help raise funds for this amazing cause is truly special for us.”
The bitter war between Tom Cruise and ex wife Katie Holmes has been laid bare in a serious of explosive emails which accuse the actress of leading a campaign of dirty tricks against him.
Holmes has been accused of enlisting a close friend in a full-scale war to discredit him.
His publicists claimed Katie Holmes persuaded Jeanne Yang, a stylist to some of America’s biggest celebrities, to mount a “conspiracy” to trash her ex-husband to various US publications.
The onslaught has forced the furious Top Gun star to open up about his relationships and his religion in a way he has never done before.
Astonishing details of the battling couple’s feud show how the actor’s desperate team of PR flunkies painted a damning portrayal of the mother-of-one.
In a series of emails read out in court they alleged Cruise, 51, was the victim of an orchestrated drive to discredit the movie star as well as claiming sensitive information was being leaked.
They also accused Holmes, who is the mother of the couple’s daughter Suri, of having a hotline to the paparazzi.
Emails sent between August and September last year exposed the fierce rift between the couple which allege Holmes, 34, enlisted the help of a close friend Yang.
Cruise’s publicist Amanda Lundberg wrote in one email: “A very good friend/editor slipped and said her name to me on Monday.
Later adding: “Two good sources told me it is all her… Every single person tells me she is speaking to the press constantly.”
So incensed by the perceived betrayal at one point they threatened to send a legal letter to Holmes’s lawyers accusing Yang of leaking stories and telling her to stop.
However it wasn’t only the stylist who Cruise’s camp’s anger was directed towards.
Rex
They claimed the actress’s publicity team called the paparazzi every time Holmes left her apartment in Manhattan.
“(Katie’s publicist) calls the paparazzi every time K gets ready to leave the building as the doormen are always surprised how they suddenly show up when she is about to leave,” Lundberg alleged, in another email.
When a story emerged claiming Suri was scared for her first day of school because her father made her nervous by telling her she’d have to follow rules and listen to her teachers, his lawyers hit the the roof.
After threatening to take action the blame again fell on Yang as the whistleblower and Cruise’s team unashamedly announced it was convinced Holmes’ team was purposely putting out false information.
“JY [Jeanne Yang] again. At this point she and they are involved in a conspiracy,” one email blasted. “They know she’s making this bs (bullsh*t) up.”
The situation came to a head when the Top Gun’s star’s publicist was asked to comment on a story about him missing Suri’s first day at school which left Homles upset.
It prompted them to contact his ex wife’s publicist to end the back-stabbing.
“I think this is getting more disgusting if that is even possible. And this should be curbed whenever possible – their daughter doesn’t deserve these incessant lies,” Lundberg wrote to Holmes’ agent, Nanci Ryder.
“Can you guys comment and deny this as we all know this is not true. I think that would help stop this which of course is in Suri’s best interest as well.
Getty
“He would never make a promise he wouldn’t keep and he knew where he would be,” Lundberg explained, noting Cruise was filming in London at the time.
“Plus even if a promise was made – the only person who would know that are T, S and K [Tom, Suri and Katie] so we know this didn’t come from them right?”
The revelation comes as Cruise sues two U.S. magazines for £31million for libel after they accused of “abandoning” Suri.
The details emerged as part of a 36-page disposition transcript the actor gave when he met with the publications lawyers.
As the actor was grilled he admitted he had hardly seen the seven-year-old in 110 days after his divorce in July 2012 and that his devotion to Scientology DID play a part in the breakdown of his marriage.
He was quizzed at length about seeing Suri for only 10 days following his divorce over a four month period.
The magazine’s legal team asked if there had been any agreement with Holmes that prevented him from seeing his daughter.
Cruise replied saying it was simply a case of schedules not matching up.
“Unfortunately, in this situation it was impossible.” he said.
WireImage
At one point during the heated exchange with the lawyer for In Touch and Life & Style magazines, he was compared him to his own father, Thomas Mapother (corr) III, who allegedly left the actor when he was a child.
“The fact that you would suggest that I was being like my father… I find that greatly offencive,” he said.
Pushed by the magazine’s attorney Elizabeth McNamara further he was also asked about his religion.
McNamara asked: “And Ms Holmes has never indicated in any way that was one of the reasons she left you? To protect Suri from Scientology?”
The Mission Impossible star then admits: “Did she say that? That was one of the assertions, yes.”
During their five year marriage the actress was a practitioner of the church although as soon as the couple broke up she left – taking their daughter Suri with her.
Holmes has always refused to talk about her divorce although in a recent she opened about motherhood.
She said: “My most amazing achievement is being a mum; my daughter is the most important thing in my life,” Holmes says. “She keeps me going.”
As no settlement has been reached the case it set to go trial next year.

08 NOVEMBER 2013 There’s a history of pilots and airline workers in her family – and Kate Middleton is following in the family footsteps by learning to fly a plane.
The Duchess told a told a group of RAF officers that she had been taking lessons in a fixed-wing aircraft, saying: “My grandfather [the late RAF pilot Peter Middleton] flew planes. I’ve had a few lessons on fixed wing.”

In doing so she also follows the lead of brother-in-law Prince Harry, who took lessons in flying fixed wing planes in 2008 at the Army Air Corps base in Middle Wallop, Hampshire. RAF search and rescue pilot Prince William of course also has his wings – he graduated in September 2010.
Kate’s parents Michael and Carole have a background in the aviation industry. Both worked for British Airways before starting their business Party Pieces. Carole was a cabin crew member while Michael was a dispatcher.
Kate told of her flying lessons as she joined William in helping promote the Poppy Appeal in London on Thursday.
The former glamour model’s perfume signing turned into one big awkward flop after less than 30 fans showed up

Mum-of-four Katie Price trekked all the way to Bolton to sign bottles of her Kissable perfume in none other than glam central – Tesco – only to bail less than half an hour later, leaving some fans with perfume bottles sans her million dollar signature.
One upset Katie fan wrote: “She turned up 40 minutes late, and left at 3pm. She always says she never leaves without signing everyone.”
While another said: “Katie Price, cheers for the dirty look. Waited in the line, bought your perfume and were told you weren’t signing anymore.”
According to The Bolton News, less than 30 people queued, which would explain A LOT. Apparently Katie refused to go out onto the shop floor to do signings and instead did them in the private room she was in, before packing up altogether.

But, glamazon Katie, who had baby son Jett with her, told fans she had to leave early because her tiny tot had taken ill.
“Sorry guys im here at my signing Jetts got a Cold not well so just settling him #workingmummultitasking,” she wrote on Twitter.
We’re just disappointed that the fetching pink fake car front, which she was supposed to be sat in front of got dismantled before it had its rightful moment in the spotlight.
The Saturdays singer had previously claimed a bedroom blunder put her in hospital but Marvin said it was just a joke
Rex
It’s that embarrassing moment you hope will never happen to you – and according to Marvin Humes, it didn’t happen to wife Rochelle after all.
The red-faced JLS star hung his head in shame last month when Rochelle claimed she had gone to hospital after an embarrassing sex mishap.
But Marvin has said the story is “150% not true” and claimed his wife was simply having a laugh.
Saturdays singer Rochelle, 24, sparked the rumours when she was interviewed with her bandmates on Capital FM recently.
Chatting to presenters Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon on the Breakfast Show, the Saturday ladies were asked if they’d ever “sustained an injury during special cuddles”.
“I have,” the usually tame band member giggled.
Then Una properly dropped her in it, saying: “Rochelle went to A&E over this.”
Awkward.
But Marvin, who works at the radio station, has denied the sex mishap claiming it was just “banter” between the girls.
The 28-year-old told Digital Spy: “It’s not true. it’s 150% not true.
“It just came out of nowhere. It was all a bit of friendly banter between the girls. They made something up and then it all just escalated and got out of hand. As I said, it’s not true at all.”
When asked if he was left cringing after the interview, Marvin added: “Oh massively. Of course, totally. But it’s just one of those things. You have to be careful what you say because people will believe everything.”
Well it’s hardly something you’d shout about Marvin, but we believe you.
It looks like Liz Hurley and Shane Warne are back on track after the couple were spotted looking loved-up during their stay in Sydney this week.
The model and Aussie cricketer held hands at their first official public appearance since their rumoured split, as they posed for snaps at the launch of Liz’s label with local brand Queenspark.
Liz and Shane back together
The couple, who flew in to the Australian city on Thursday night, were also snapped together at the airport before both tweeting pictures of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge taken from their hotel balcony.
Back in September, Shane denied he and Liz had split, after reports claimed that their two-year engagement was over.
Speculation that the couple had gone their separate ways began after they both went quiet on Twitter and Liz was spotted without her engagement ring.
However, Australian cricketer Warne spoke out saying that some of the reports were “rubbish”.
Posting on Twitter, he explained that he and Liz were “sorting through some (private) issues”:
However, Liz also responded to the split stories via Twitter and sounded far less positive about her and Shane’s relationship, calling their situation “raw and personal”.

08 NOVEMBER 2013Tom Cruise is particularly private when it comes to his life as a family man. But a court battle has put the Hollywood star in the spotlight, forcing him to answer difficult questions about his relationship with daughter Suri, divorce from Katie Holmes, and the impact of Scientology on his marriage.
In a deposition taken on 9 September, Tom was questioned by Elizabeth McNamara, the lawyer for Bauer Publishing which he is suing for $ 50million over two 2012 stories that claimed he had “abandoned” seven-year-old Suri.

The 51-year-old acknowledged that he didn’t see his daughter for more than 100 days, from 4 August, 2012, when they finished a week-long father-daughter trip to Disney World, until Thanksgiving that November.
Citing his intense filming schedule in London for his sci-fi thriller All You Need Is Kill, Tom said, “Unfortunately in this situation it was impossible.”
He said that he phoned Suri nearly every day — although he admitted this was a poor substitute for seeing her in person.
“You have to work at it,” he said of talking to a child on the phone. “I’ve gotten very good at it. I tell wonderful stories.

“I also find, you know, that Suri is a very happy child, and confident, and has a good sense of self.”
His work commitments in London, and his concerns about media attention, also meant that Tom was unable to travel to New York for Suri’s first day at school.
“If she had asked me to be there, I would have been there,” he said. “I would have worked it out in any way I could.”
He added that he was unable to leave the “gruelling” film shoot when Katie suggested he come to New York in October, and said there were other times when the former couple couldn’t work out their schedules for a visit.
“Things change and there is different agreements, like in any divorce, where you work out schedules,” he commented. “It’s just a different set of circumstances. It certainly doesn’t mean that I’ve abandoned my daughter.”
In the wide-ranging, sometimes contentious, deposition, Tom was also questioned about the impact Scientology had on his split from Katie.
Revealing that Suri is no longer practicing the religion, Tom was asked whether his wife had left him to protect their daughter from Scientology. “I find that question offensive…,” he responded. “There is no need to protect my daughter from my religion.
But when he was asked whether Katie had left him in part for that reason, Tom replied, “that was one of the many assertions, yes… There are many other aspects to the divorce.”
The actor also acknowledged that his older children, Isabella and Connor, whose mum is Nicole Kidman, haven’t had contact with Katie since the split in June 2012.
The model showed off her perfect body in a figure-hugging dress at the glamorous event
We do love a good supermodel because their faces are just so amazingly beautiful.
So, with her being a supermodel and all, it’s no surprise the eternally pretty Gisele Bundchen has been signed up as the face of the Wall Street Journal Magazine’s Innovator Of The Year Awards.
And not only will the fashion model be gracing the front cover of the November issue, she also attended the event in New York over in the good old U S of A on Thursday night.
The star wore a midnight blue and black dress which finished just above the knee leaving her lusciously long legs on show.
She wore a pair of open high-heeled shoes and her light brown hair rested on her shoulders as she posed for awaiting photographers before the ceremony.

And while Gisele is the face if the magazine’s awards, it wasn’t her facial features we were drawn to.
Her glamorous dress featured a plunging neckline which left plenty of cleavage on show.
But it wasn’t all about her boobs, the model showed off her stunning figure in the dress which showed off her athletic body perfectly.
On maintaining her figure, she recently said: “Like I tell my five sisters, who don’t work at it very hard at all, whatever you put in, you get out.
“I’m not afraid of working hard at anything, whatever it is. I just always want the best that I can.”

The actress flew into Paris for the big reveal all in the name of Christmas
Celebrities don’t exactly lead normal lives and sometimes their jobs don’t involve doing ordinary things.
So, to the rest of us, jetting across the world to open a window in exchange for money may seem a little unusual.
But that’s just what Gwyneth Paltrow did on Thursday when she jetted into Paris to unveil the Christmas window display at luxury department store Printemps.
The domestic goddess was earlier spotted wearing her casual flight attire (if there is such a thing) before boarding her flight to France in Los Angeles.
But it wasn’t long before she was looking super glam as she got into the festive spirit at the event.
Looking rather pleased with herself as she posed in front of the Christmas display, the actress wore a black and white dress outside the Haussmann Boulevard store.

She held a black clutch purse in her hand which she teamed with a pair of high-heeled shoes of the same colour.
And the star considerately kept her Twitter followers up to date with her movements before her professional engagement, writing: “Good evening Paris! On my way to see Mrs Prada.”
Thanks for that, Gwyn.
Gwyenth managed to keep her Christmas excitement under control during the evening which we probably wouldn’t have managed to do as the window display is pretty impressive.
It features a 16-metre long track along which Santa runs to take off on his sledge and it also has more than 150 stars and snowflakes plus 80 cute teddy bears.
So, basically exactly what out house looks like on Christmas Day. Take a look at some more pictures below…

07 NOVEMBER 2013David Beckham is smouldering dressed head to toe in leather in a new ad campaign.
The former professional footballer, who is the new face of Belstaff, is pictured posing in the countryside surrounded by motorbikes and fellow bikers.
The father-of-four wears a distressed leather jacket and trousers and a faded t-shirt for the low-key shoot which was based on “a band of brothers travelling across the English countryside lead by Beckham.”
The campaign was shot in rural Buckinghamshire by renowned photographer German photographer Peter Lindbergh.
When 38-year-old David attended Belstaff’s Bond Street store opening in September he said he loved “being able to work with a brand that has so much history and is very British”.
“I began wearing a lot of Belstaff a few years back when I started riding bikes,” David explained. “I actually found my first [Belstaff jacket] when I was shopping in a vintage store, funnily enough, about six or seven years ago and I still wear that when I’m riding.”
“I’ve always loved motorbikes. But I’ve never really been allowed to ride them,” he told Vogue at the event.
“Obviously now that I’ve finished playing, it’s enabled me to spend more time on my bikes, which is great.”
The Belstaff campaign is not the fashionable football star’s first foray into modelling. He has posed in his own H&M underwear shoots and has also stripped off for Emporio Armani.
His affinity for modelling has been passed on to his son Romeo who appeared in Burberry ad alongside Cara Delevingne earlier this year.
