Taylor Swift is a special type of person – she’s a talented singer, a pretty lady and an all round stylish gal.

So it was no surprise the American star looked great on the red carpet at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards in London on Sunday afternoon.

However, the country singer almost suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction, similar to that endured by Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall at the same event, as the wind sent her dress flying all over the place as she arrived on the red carpet.

Taylor looked effortlessly stylish in a green dress which featured gold decorative detailing.

She showed off a healthy glow as she posed at the glamorous bash as fans looked on and basically screamed their heads off until they were near death with excitement.

But while our mate Tayl (can we call her that? Oh well, we just did) looked great, the weather in the land we call Blighty caused her clothing to fly all about her person.

However! Showing she’s a cut about the rest of us when it comes to keeping herself covered, she used her beautiful hands and arms to keep her private parts concealed from public viewing.

And just like that, Taylor, who presented an award at the ceremony, kept her mind focused and moved on to her next appointment just like the pro she is.

Tweeting ahead of her X Factor performance the same day, she wrote: “So excited to be debuting ‘the last time’ with @garysnowpatrol on X Factor UK tonight! It’s good to be back in London :)
